Yet more non-support of servicemembers.
While Linda Blum, a clinical psychologist writes about treating PTSD in the Washington post, others in the media and national spotlight urinate on those who guard their freedom.
“I wouldn’t characterize anybody who fought in Vietnam as a war hero,” said Medea Benjamin, a co-founder of the theatrical anti-war group Code Pink. “In 23 bombing sorties, there must have been civilians that were killed and there’s no heroism to that.”
“A lot of people don’t know … that McCain made a propaganda video for the enemy while he was in captivity,” wrote Americablog.com’s John Aravosis. “Putting that bit of disloyalty aside, what exactly is McCain’s military experience that prepares him for being commander in chief?”
Obama’s website is worse. Hope and change himself
jettisoned Wes Clark when
it was politically convent he dissed McCain
This is why I will never, EVER, vote for Democrats, leftists or any of the “lightworkers” out there. Time and time again the mask falls off and the hate shines like glass. At New Mexico Tech, we had a professor who taught American government.
All was fine at first, until he had to talk about U.S. support for Israel. it was awful, he never came out and said that Israel should be destroyed, but he came close.
Sorry Ms. Blum, but you are being used. PTSD, veteran benefits, military gear were cut to the bone during the Clinton years. My dad almost lost his job at White Sands because of the “Peace Dividend”. Now with Iraq, these issues are being pushed by the people who ignored them and belittle the troops? remember, it was because of the negative media image of Vietnam veterans that the vets themselves had to form support groups. Now, decades latter, some Vietnam veterans even celebrated the Army’s birthday here in El Paso.
Keep up the good work Ms. Blum, but please stay away from troop hating media they only want you for the bad, not the good.
