Powell, Obama and the next four years (oy vey!)

Yes, I heard, Colin Powell has endorsed the chosen one. Yea, whoop de do. The pundits are already calling Nov. 4th for Obama.
They are not even trying to be objective.

remember reading All the President’s Men and thinking: That’s journalism. You do what it takes to get the truth and you lay it before the public, because the public has a right to know.

This housing crisis didn’t come out of nowhere. It was not a vague emanation of the evil Bush administration.

It was a direct result of the political decision, back in the late 1990s, to loosen the rules of lending so that home loans would be more accessible to poor people. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were authorized to approve risky loans.
…..
You’re just the public relations machine of the Democratic Party, and it’s time you were all fired and real journalists brought in, so that we can actually have a news paper in our city.

When a science fiction author is calling you to the carpet, you should be fired! MSM, you ignore the terrorists that have been Obama’s friends for years. You try and say that terrorism is all made up and no threat to the U.S.

The truth? You want the truth as to why I am behind McCain-Palin?

Here is is from your Man Joe BHiden of Obama-Biden 2008:

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”
……
“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Even his VP-candidate know that Obama is a fake. We need leaders. Powell never recovered from the 2003 Iraq invasion and he never stood his ground since. He, like generals, Wesly Clarke and Merril McPeak are ex-military.

We want leaders who will take care of us. Not call us murderers and never lift a finger to help us. We want a president who will fight when he needs to, not a gun shy citizen of the world. Oh, btw those eruopean citizens of the world?

They came, they saw, then left the Afghan war without a single mission

GERMANY has admitted its Special Forces have spent three years in Afghanistan without doing a single mission, and are now going to be withdrawn.
….

Senior military officials last night blasted the KSK commanders for keeping the troops in camp. One western military official accused Germany of “sitting on the sidelines while the rest of the world fights”.

He said: “It’s just unbelievable to think there have been 100 highly-trained troops sitting doing nothing for three years, while everyone else has worked their socks off. It’s no good sending troops if they don’t do anything. They might as well have stayed at home.”

Obama’s army, ladies and gentlemen.

Meanwhile his followers continue to pillage and rob, err spread the word about hope and change:

  • Frank Armstrong was preparing to go for a jog this morning when he noticed his Lexus – adorned with a McCain-Palin sticker – had been vandalized with obscenities and a burned American flag.

BTW: via In From the Cold :

On the heels of Joe Biden’s prediction that Barack Obama would be tested early in his presidency, The New York Times offers a list of three potential challengers. Venezuela, Russia and Iran, awash in petrodollars just a few months ago, are now facing a severe budget squeeze, thanks to the recent, dramatic drop in oil prices.

Of course, the Times doesn’t actually predict a confrontation with these countries. Taking a more diplomatic approach, reporters Simon Romero, Michael Slackman and Clifford Levy wonder if “the countries can sustain their spending–and their bids to challenge U.S. hegemony.

But it doesn’t take a foreign policy expert to understand the flip side of that argument. Facing an American president with little experience in international affairs, one (or more) of the rogue states might provoke a regional crisis, believing that an Obama Administration would respond less forcefully.
