Fast and Furious back in headlines as Univision reportedly finds more victims
By Matthew Boyle

Spanish-language television network Univision plans to air a television special that it said reveals more violence than previously known, as well as the stories of how many more Operation Fast and Furious victims were killed, the network announced in a Friday release.

“The consequences of the controversial ‘Fast and Furious’ undercover operation put in place by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in 2009 have been deadlier than what has been made public to date,” the network said. “The exclusive, in-depth investigation by Univision News’ award-winning Investigative Unit — Univision Investiga — has found that the guns that crossed the border as part of Operation Fast and Furious caused dozens of deaths inside Mexico.”

Since when was this a good idea? This would be an act of war if it was done to us. Where is Code Pink? Where is the anti-war movement? We know that the media is in the tank for the Democrats.

Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot…

So 2008 was supposed to be a break from the George W. Bush presidency. The left kept jumping up and down saying that he was an evil moron etc.

The media really didn’t know the people they put in the White House and they never bothered to find out. We have an administration that kowtows to an angry mob, thinks it can advance a liberal agenda on the backs of dead Mexicans, downplays a Marine unit that is non-mission capable and the media just goes along with it.

I get that the left hated Bush. The election, the Iraq war etc. The man could never catch a break. However our current government seems to be doing a worse job. The Arab spring? Came about because of Saddam’s fall. The administration sits on its hands as crazed radicals take control of Egypt and demand the release of the man behind the 1993 bombing of the World Trade center. Instead of charting its own course, the DOJ works with a liberal organization to slander reporters covering the DOJ. The media doesn’t cover the war in Afghanistan, yet lamets that there are no protests and outcry over it. Energy policy that hits the poor and working families hardest. There was never any hope and change. Only Washington insiders protecting their own. I’ve always suspected that the conspiracy theories about Bush were the left’s wishful thinking. They wanted to be able to manipulate the government for their agenda. Hence the millions wasted on Solyndra, high-speed rail in cali and our complete loss of influence in the Middle East. Why does the administration have to arrest a filmmaker?

Because theory and ideology are more important than real people and elections are more important than the truth. The lunatics are running the asylum.

You are what you hate lefties. You gave us a government that is made of fail. With the coming budget cuts and you’re leadership’s failure to act, this is your fault. Bush is out of office. This is not inherited . This. Is. Your. Mess.

“Smart Diplomacy” and the liberal media

Our embassy in Libya was attacked. Our ambassador is dead along with several brave Americans. The battle to get our people out was “fierce“. How do our longtime allies in Egypt react? By calling for the head of the movie director who’s craptacular movie started the rage fest in the Middle East. U.S. Embassy in Cairo knuckles under, only to be tossed under the bus by Washington.

Meanwhile Egypt wants more M-1 Abrams tanks. I stand with Sebastian and his blog in asking “Um, why?”

Egypt is moving closer to Iran now that the Muslim Brotherhood is in charge. Egypt operates the F-16, M-1 and Patriot Missile System. Israel operated the F-16 and Patriot. Guess what Iran desperately wants to counter? Russia wants technical data, as would China. Unlike the downgraded models the USSR gave to Egypt in the Cold War, the current Egyptian military has some of the best the US could send. Perhaps the Muslim Brotherhood thinks it stands a chance to invade Israel now? Iran would give it’s support and Russia would cover for them in the UN. Lord knows the American left would give Egypt it’s support.

Of course American drones are in Libya, and so was a Marine FAST team.

We’re at war, more or less. So much for the “smart diplomacy” we were promised back in 2008.

Emilia Clarke (born c. 1987) is an English actress, who is best known for portraying Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO medieval-fantasy series, Game of Thrones.[1]

And she’s a good reason to tune in…

The liberal narrative

Posted in politcs, Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on 1, September 2012 by chockblock

Liberals have a strange way of viewing the world:

As so it beings. The left is losing it’s mind as it’s confronted with reality. Maybe the voters are tired of not having jobs. Maybe the fading “Hope and Change” posters just aren’t enough.

There will be anger and protests. The “unbiased” media will stay in the tank for the left. There will be shitty movies and stupid actors.

Don’t panic! The key is for conservatives (the real reality based community) to stay on message. Let the lefties dress up in stupid costumes, parade fake veterans and riot. We have a party and a ticket that will fix what’s wrong. But we have to vote them into office. The left is good at shrieking when it can’t get it’s way. We need to be better than that. Gaffes will happen, it’s still a long way to November. But we have a candidate, a plan and a platform.

The left has it’s dog whistles. They bitterly cling to Bush, even though he’s been out of office for 3 1/2 years.

How's that hopey changey thing now?
